Do a 5k! They are only 3.2 miles and they offer them all over the valley! There is one on Thanksgiving you could do!!! And that gives you plenty of time to train. Also, if you are going to the Y, they have a setting on the treadmill that you can "run a 5K" so it will track you that way instead of those boring laps! Good luck! Maybe I should start doing that again....you're motivating me!
